On February 6th, the Wasps defeated the Miners 73 to 64. The Lady Wasps let Park City Miners have 17 points to their 41. In true Wasatch tradition the students dressed in their finest “Hick” attire. At half-time the student section talked Principal Tod Johnson into chugging a Mountain Dew and completely lost their minds at his redneck skills. Country music was played for warm-ups, and during timeouts. When Boot Scootin’ Boogie announced the end of the game, the students flooded the court to Line Dance as only a true “Hick” can. It was everything a big win over a rival high school should be.
