Robert was born on March 23, 1938, in Glendale, California, to parents, Ruby Hanks Fuller and Paul Knox Fuller. He grew up in Parker Idaho with brothers Bruce and Bill as the middle son. He married his sweetheart Dixie Eva Toomer on Aug. 29, 1962, in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Cardston Alberta Temple. Robert graduated from the University of Utah College of Law in 1966 and had a successful career in corporate law retiring in 2006. Robert was a lover of the outdoors with many backpacking and camping trips with his family to the High Sierras, Appalachian Mountains, Wind Rivers, High Uintahs and the slot canyons of southern Utah. He also enjoyed boating trips to Lake Powell and had many adventures there with family and friends. Robert had a great love for the Book of Mormon and shared that love with all he came in contact with. He especially loved the missionary stories contained within and was a valiant missionary himself; having served a mission to the Western States mission from 1959 to 1961. His posterity have served 10 missions across the globe. He was married to his bride for 57 years and was a tender husband and wonderful father and grandpa. He leaves a legacy of hard work, love of family and an ability to befriend all those he met. He will be sorely missed by all who were fortunate to know him.
