Ladies lacrosse finding its way

Last Wednesday the Wasatch Girls High School lacrosse team went head to head with top ranked Lone Peak in the season opening game. Wasatch fell to Lone Peak 19-2 in what was a very wet and rainy game. Lone Peak was ranked in the top five for most of last year's season, and it was clear they were looking to hold onto that title.

New Senior Captain, Elle Dalsing took the draw for Wasatch and Lone Peak quickly took control of the ball and the game, scoring within the first minute. Lone Peak went on to score five more times before Dalsing could answer back with a goal of her own. Lone Peak dominated the first half ending with a score of 13-1.

The second half started off with Lone Peak putting in a quick goal, but Wasatch had rallied this time and stepped up their tenacity. Wasatch held them off for 8 minutes without letting them score...
