The Swim’n Men of Wasatch came out strong in their debut performance this season, beating strong teams from 6A Herriman and Hillcrest as well as last years 5A runner-up Cottonwood.
The team had nearly 70% lifetime best times, which is very good for the first meet of the season. The team is still very young and learning how to compete and swim fast when it is needed, but they are learning quickly and the season looks bright.
The Swim’n Women had a strong performance of their own as they soundly beat the defending 5A state champions Cottonwood, and 6A Herriman and Hillcrest.
The team had nearly 70% best times, four new ALL-WASP times by Jr. Maddie Sisneros and Fr. Lauren Snyder as well as a new team record in the 100 Fly by Maddi Sisneros (59.20).
The team had a strong performance by its freshman class led by: Isabelle Moulton, Lauren Snyder, Ashlyn Hicken, Emma Lay and Jaeden Haynes.
The future looks very bright for the Wasatch Women as they head into the 2018-19 swim season.
