INVITATION FOR BID

Sealed bids for construction of the Twin Creeks Special Service District Southwest Area Water Transmission Pipeline Project will be received to the attention of Max Covey, Assistant General Manager at the office Twin Creeks Special Service District, 5780 N. Old Hwy 40, Heber City, UT, 84032, until 3:00 p.m., on July 3, 2018 and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.

The bidder shall indicate the Construction Contract title, the name and address of the Bidder, and the date and time of the Bid opening.

The work to be performed consists of furnishing all labor, tools, materials, equipment transportation and services required for the construction of the above described project as included in the Contract Documents; consisting of the following items of work for: 14,600 lineal feet 12-inch C900 PVC water line with associated fittings and valves, hydrants, road crossings, asphalt patching, road encroachment permit fees for Wasatch County, Heber City, and UDOT, etc.; all in accordance with the Drawings and Specifications prepared by JACKSON ENGINEERING. Electronic copies of the Contract Documents may be obtained from Jackson Engineering, Steve Jackson at steve@jackson-engineering.com beginning at 12:00 noon on June 18, 2018.

A pre-bid meeting will be held at the Twin Creeks Special Service District offices located at 5780 N. Old Hwy 40, Heber City, UT, 84032 at 11:00 a.m. June 26, 2018.

Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, Certified Check or Cashier’s Check in the amount of 5% of the maximum bid price, drawn payable to the order of the Jordanelle Special Service District. Bid Security will be returned to each unsuccessful Bidder. All Bids submitted shall be in conformance with the Instructions to Bidders which are included in the Contract Documents; and shall be guaranteed by the Bidder for a period of sixty (60) days from the date of the Bid opening. Budget Hearing and

Adoption Notice

In accordance with Section 10-6-118 of the Utah Code, notice is hereby given that the Heber City Council will hold a Public Hearing on June 21, 2018. The purpose of the Hearing is to adopt the 2018-2019 fiscal year budget. The meeting will be held at the Heber City Municipal Building located at 75 North Main Street at 6:00 p.m. Copies of the proposed budget will be available for public review on the City website at www.ci.heber.ut.us and in the office of the City Recorder beginning June 11, 2018. The Council will also open the 2017-2018 budget to allow for additional revenue and expenses. Interested citizens are invited to attend and voice support or opposition to the proposed budget or budget amendments.

MEETING

Notice is hereby given that the MIDWAY CITY PLANNING COMMISSION will hold their regular meeting on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at 7 p.m. in the Midway Community Center, located at 160 West Main Street, Midway, Utah, to consider the following items:

1. Epic Engineering, agent for Michael LaBarge, is requesting approval of a large-scale subdivision. The proposal is for a three-lot subdivision that is 4.2 acres in size. The property is located at 922 North Pine Canyon Road and is partially in the R-1-15 zone and partially in the R-1-22 zone.

2. Berg Engineering, agent for Clint Kelson, is requesting a Plat Amendment. The proposal is to change the common area on the recorded plat to open space as recommended by the County Assessor’s Office. Split Lot 1 into Lots 1A and 1B to allow the barn and corrals to be separated from the home and be on its own agricultural parcel that does not have any residential building rights. The proposal is located at 943 West Alpine Road and is in the R-1-22 zone.

RE: Rezoning of Property located at 2879 S. Mill Road from RA-5 to Commercial

Notice is hereby given that the Daniel Town Planning Commission and Town Council will be holding a public hearing at approximately 7:00PM on Wednesday, June 20, 2018, to review a proposal to rezone approximately 3.85 acres from RA-5 zone to the commercial (c) zone. (Please see the attached map). The rezoning request is being made by Robert Armstrong and Shirley Rae Webb Huntsman, who are the owners of the property.

The above meeting will be held at the Wasatch County Services Building, located at 55 South 500 East, Room 126, Heber City, Utah, as part of the monthly Planning meeting.
