The employees of Heber’s Lee’s Market planted five trees in Wheeler Park last weekend in conjunction with their Lee’s Trees program. Lee’s shoppers who use reuseable bags while shopping at Lee’s are given a wooden nickle to place in a box. Lee’s trades those wooden nickles in on cash to purchase trees. More than $800 was raised by Lee’s shoppers last year.
