Bank Robbery Suspect Sought by Police

Midway, Utah- Wasatch County Sheriff’s Office responded to a bank robbery alarm at the Grand Valley Bank at about 2:00 pm. Witnesses at the bank reported the suspect brandished a handgun while demanding cash.

The witnesses described the male as being about 6 feet tall and being a Caucasian male. They reported he was wearing a gray colored long sleeve shirt, dark pants, and white shoes. He was wearing black gloves and black sunglasses.

The suspect wore a blue bandana over the lower half of his face. He also draped a folded white towel over part of his head. The male was wearing a backpack on the front of his chest. The male left the bank on foot traveling northbound on 100 West.

Wasatch County Sheriff’s Office, along with officers from the Heber City Police Department, Utah Highway Patrol, the Utah State Parks and the Federal Bureau of Investigation are assisting with the investigation.
