On May 25th to 27th, 2017, nine local senior veterans from our communities will be honored in Washington D.C. by the Honor Flight Network, a non-profit organization created solely to honor America’s veterans for all their sacrifices and dedicated to providing veterans with honor and closure. These local vets will be accompanied by student nurses from the BYU School of Nursing (who helped coordinate this trip) and/or family members.

Honor Flight Network transports our heroes to our nation’s capital to visit and reflect at their memorials. Top priority is given to the senior veterans – World War II and Korean War survivors - along with those other veterans who may be terminally ill.

Please join us in expressing our appreciation to these men for their service to us and our great country.
