Description and Scope of Work: This project consists of furnishing and installing approximately 1,270 linear feet of 8” C-900 culinary water pipe including fittings, connections, surface restoration, and other

appurtenances.

A MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE will be held at 11:00 a.m. on March 28, 2017 at the Charleston Town Hall, 3454 West 3400 South, Heber City, Utah 84032. Prospective bidders must attend to be eligible to bid.

The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS will be available March 28, 2017 and information on how to obtain the contract documents will be given at the mandatory pre-bid conference. A five percent (5%) Bid Bond will be required.

NOTICE

Charleston Town has adopted a resolution indicating the Town Board’s intent to adjust a boundary that the municipality has in common with Daniel Town. This boundary exists in the area between the northeasterly boundary of the Town of Charleston that currently runs along easterly edge of Highway 189 and that currently constitutes the division between the Town of Charleston and the Town of Daniel and the center line of Highway 189. A public hearing will be held on May 4, 2017 at 7 p.m. in the Charleston Town Hall to hear comment about this boundary adjustment. Charleston and Daniel Towns will adjust this boundary unless, at or before the public hearing, a written protest to the adjustment are filed by the owners of private real property that is located within the area proposed for adjustment, covers at least 25% of the total private land area within the area proposed for adjustment, and is equal in value to at least 15% of the value of all private real property within the area proposed for adjustment.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

• Constructing new asphalt trail with approximately 29,291 square feet of 10’ asphalt trail paving, trail signs, approximately 1,027 lineal feet of concrete ditch, concrete ditch driveway crossings and piping ~325 feet of irrigation ditch with 24” RCP.

• Replace approximately 829 lineal feet of existing 8” Water Line with new 10” PVC C900 Water Line with valves, services and fire hydrant.
