Concert Slated to Help WHS Cheer Team Go to National Competition

Wasatch High School Competitive Cheer is hosting a fundraiser at the Nest at Wasatch High on March 17th from 7:30 - 10 pm. in order to raise money to send the team to the national competition for the first time in 22 years.

The squad will be debuting their Nationals routine at this event. Intensity Dance studio will be performing their First place finish number. Weber State University Cheer Team will be performing their National Competition routine that they will be debuting in Daytona Beach, Florida in April.

In addition to the local performers, the team is hosting a concert musical performance by various artists, including: Na-G, a rapper that is featured on James the Mormon's album this year; Fankzoo, a fast climbing rapper that it hitting the charts on iTunes; Pati Soi is a Hawaiian style artist that just released his new song called Island Girls; and Bri Ray is a soulful artist featured on American Idol.

This is an event for the whole family with DJ Micah Gogan providing a eventful fun night.

Dinner and treats will be sold with fun prizes and giveaways all night. Come support the amazing cheer team as they prepare to put on a show for their hometown.
