Continuing their 8 year winning streak, Wasatch High School Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) took 1st in the state yet again. The Utah FBLA State Leadership Conference was held at the Davis Conference Center from March 6-8, 2017. Wasatch competed against almost 100 other High School FBLA chapters and, with the competition tighter than ever, came out on top due to the hard work and success of the chapter members.
FBLA leadership conferences entail speaking, interview, impromptu, and testing events that assess competitors’ competency in countless aspects of business. Success in any event requires lots of knowledge, study, and skill. All those who placed top 10 in the state were honored on stage during the closing ceremonies.
Those who placed top 10 at this year’s state competition include: Josh Benson, Kael Berkley, Kenna Berkley, Grant Bischoff, Rachel Brighton, Thomas Chappell, Emmelia Cieslewicz, Kenadee Clark, Nathan Curtis, Sienna Curtis, Ephraim Drennan, Robin Duke, Sophie Glenn, Sanjay Gounder, Kaden Hardy, Kallin Kelley, Alanna Linford, Brandon Luke, Hayden Mabbutt, Brandon Maxwell, Aubrey Nabaum, Cannon Nabaum, Alan Nichols, Sydney Parker, Haley Scher, Logan Stone, Sydney Whitby, Ellie Wilhite, Wyatt Wilson, Daniel Witt, and Nathan Zabel. Congratulations to these hard working competitors on their success!
