MEETING

Notice is hereby given that the MIDWAY CITY PLANNING COMMISSION will hold their regular meeting on Tuesday September 10, 2019 at 6 p.m. in the Midway Community Center, located at 160 West Main Street, Midway, Utah, to consider the following items:

1. Mike Johnston of Summit Engineering Group, agent for Tom and Lynn Walker, is requesting preliminary/final approval of Walker Farm, a rural preservation subdivision. The proposal is for a 1-lot subdivision on 7.89 acres. The property is located at about 500 West Main Street and is in the RA-1-43 zone.

2. Russ Watts is proposing a plat amendment of Watts Remund Farms Planned Unit Development Phase 1. The amendment is to relocate unit 22 to the east by 28’. The property is located at 552 North Granary Lane and is in the R-1-15 zone.

3. Wasatch School District is requesting preliminary approval of the Midway Wrangler Subdivision on property owned by Corporation of the Presiding Bishop. The proposal is to subdivide 20.29 acres into one lot and one agricultural parcel that may be developed in the future. The property is located at 180 East Michie Lane and is in the R-1-15 zone.

4. Midway City is proposing a code text amendment of Section 16.13.39 (A) (11): Off-Street Parking and Loading. The proposed code will possibly require parking for outside dining at cafes and restaurants.

5. Midway City is proposing an amendment to the City’s Land Use map. The proposal is to extend the Midway growth boundary to include property that is part of the Wasatch Mountain State Park. The area that would be included is located around the visitor’s center, Wasatch Mountain golf courses, camping areas and other surrounding properties located in the park. If the extension to the growth boundary is approved, the area could be considered for annexation.

HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to the provisions of the Local Government Bonding Act, Title 11, Chapter 14, Utah Code Annotated 1953, as amended, that on August 20, 2019, the Board of Education (the “Board”) of the Wasatch County School District, Utah (the “District”), adopted a resolution (the “Resolution”) in which it authorized the calling of an election (the “Election”) concerning a proposition for the issuance of the District’s General Obligation Bonds (the “Bonds”) and called a public hearing to receive input from the public with respect to (a) the issuance of the Bonds, and (b) any potential economic impact that the improvements, facilities or properties financed in whole or in part with the proceeds of the Bonds (see below) may have on the private sector.

TIME, PLACE, AND LOCATION OF PUBLIC HEARING

The Board shall hold a public hearing on Thursday, September 19, 2019, at the hour of 6:30 p.m. in the District offices, located at 101 East 200 North, Heber, Utah. All members of the public are invited to attend and participate.

PURPOSE FOR ISSUING THE BONDS, MAXIMUM AMOUNT AND SECURITY

The Bonds are to be issued in the aggregate principal amount of not to exceed $150,000,000 for the purpose of financing all or a portion of the costs of acquiring land and constructing school facilities; including acquiring, constructing and furnishing a new high school and replacing the existing Midway Elementary School facilities and related improvements, and paying costs of issuance of the Bonds. The Bonds shall be secured by ad valorem property taxes of the District to the extent authorized by law.

The Bonds may be issued in one or more series and be sold from time to time, all as the Board may determine.

NOTICE! YOU HAVE BEEN SUED. THE COURT MAY DECIDE AGAINST YOU WITHOUT YOUR BEING HEARD UNLESS YOU RESPOND WITHIN 21 DAYS.

READ THE INFORMATION BELOW

TO: DEFENDANT DEER VALLEY SAND AND GRAVEL, A Complaint has been filed by Cashman Equipment Company against you for the relief set forth in the Complaint.

1. If you intend to defend this lawsuit, within 21 days after this Summons is served

on you, exclusive of the day of service, you must do the following:

a. File with the Clerk of this Court, whose address is shown below, a formal written response to the Complaint in accordance with the rules of the Court, with the appropriate filing fee.

b. Serve a copy of your response upon the attorney whose name and address is shown below.

2. Unless you respond, your default will be entered upon application of the

Complaint and this Court may enter a judgment against you for the relief demanded in the Complaint, which could result in the taking of money or property or other relief requested in the Complaint.

3. If you intend to seek the advice of an attorney in this matter, you should do so

promptly so that your response may be filed on time.

4. The State of Nevada, its political subdivisions, agencies, officers, employees,

board members, commission members and legislators, each have 45 days after service of this Summons within which to file an answer or other responsive pleading to the Complaint.
