Talem Franco ran in the NCAA Track and Field National Championships held in Austin, Texas, June 5-7, 2019. He placed 11th in the finals of the 1500 meter race with a time of 3.46.20.

This means Talem earned the honor of Second-Team All-American as a junior at BYU and member of the BYU Track Team. He wants to thank everyone for their messages of support and encouragement. He looks forward to next year and the opportunities to come.

Talem also placed third in the 1500 semi-finals on June 5th with a time of 3.44.46; yet his fastest time in the 1500 meters was the NCAA Western Regionals held May 25, 2019 at 3.42.15.

Talem is studying Microbiology at BYU and is married to Jessica Lundin Franco from Rexburg, Idaho.
