She was born Aug. 4, 1945, in Spokane, Washington, to H. Max Cutler and Ruth Lemon Cutler and grew up in Utah. She lived most of her adult life in the beautiful Utah Mountains. Sheryl loved music and was a talented and accomplished ballroom dancer in her youth. She married in the Salt Lake Temple on June 6, 1969. She was a devoted mother to her 4 children and she cherished her membership in the LDS Church. Sheryl received her degree in Psychology & English from the University of Utah. She served as the Charleston Town Clerk for 25 years and had great knowledge of the intricacies of small town government and a real talent for organization. Sheryl struggled with chronic health problems for much of her adult life but managed to keep her wonderful sense of humor.
She passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. She is survived by her 4 children, Trudy, Mandy, Laurie and Trevor; a brother Hal (Michele) and a sister Pam.
A memorial service will be held July 18, at noon, at the Charleston Ward Building located at 3268 W. 3000 S., Charleston. There will be no viewing.
Her family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to those caregivers who helped care for her including Tanya, Geri and Karen. A special thank you to Dave and Maylene Hendrickson for all their help throughout the years.
