Jared Rigby was sworn-in as the Sheriff for Wasatch County on Monday at the Wasatch County Daughters of the Utah Pioneers Museum by the Honorable Judge Thomas Low. Sheriff Rigby’s first official act was to swear-in all Wasatch County law enforcement personnel - including the Wasatch County Search & Rescue team, Wasatch County deputys, detectives and dispatchers. Members of the Wasatch High School Junior ROTC conducted the ceremony. Special thanks goes to the Wasatch County Honor Guard for the presentation of colors, and Jefferson Murdock and Grant Rigby for singing of the National Anthem. Also in attendance were former Wasatch County Sheriffs Todd Bonner and Mike Spanos.

Effective Monday, January 7, former Sheriff Todd Bonner officially retired from his 33 year career as a law enforcement officer in Wasatch County.

The community extends a heartfelt thank you to Sheriff Bonner.
