Our sweet loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, Ruth G Sulser, passed away May 15, 2017, at 6:21 a.m., in Heber with her loving husband and family gathered together around her. We will miss her contagious laugh, wonderful smile and positive good nature.

Mom was born on April 21, 1933, in Hanna, Utah, to William Earl Giles and Ruby Stanley Giles. Early childhood was spent in Hanna, later moved to Heber as she started elementary school. Soon after Mom met Jay C Sulser and they were married on March 19, 1948, where they spent the next 70 years together. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake City Temple on Jan. 9, 1956. They made their home in Heber City, where they enjoyed weekend adventures in raising their family. That included hunting, fishing, camping, and spending time in the mountains. She cherished family vacations to Yellowstone, attending family reunions, and spending winters down south with their friends. They relived all these family traditions and shared with their extended family and grandchildren. Her life revolved around her family. She was proud of them and supported them in all areas, especially in sports and outdoor activities.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother Boyd and sister Audrey. Survived by her spouse and five children: Jayne (Leon) Huffaker, Kent (LeeAnn), Allan (Shirley), Lynn (Peggy), and John. Her siblings Chloe Smith, Earlene (James) Prescott, Stanley (Dianne) Giles, Royal Giles (brother-in-law) and Betty Giles (sister-in-law) Terry (brother-in-law) and Kaylynn Sulser, including 18-grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
