The 2018 girl’s soccer season came to a close for the Lady Wasps of Wasatch last Tuesday night.

Playing their finale under the lights on the turf at Wright-Tree Stadium, which has become a school tradition for both the girls and boys teams, Wasatch lost to Maple mountain 2-0.

It was a difficult season for the Lady Wasps as they recorded a total of just five wins against 11 losses. Three of their five victories were in region play, however, which was a positive for the fifth place team.

Wasatch played with tremendous heart in its final game of the season, holding the Golden Eagles scoreless until nearly midway through the second period....
