FAMILY: A group of people who love each other no matter what……..
Over the course of several years if you have attended any of our functions, including our annual kids academy you have heard us use the term “we got your six” To us, this term refers to having someone's back. This year we first handedly experienced several of our own family who have battled, or is battling cancer. Living in a community that is so amazing and that embraces each other in love and support, those of us at Heber City Police Department want to do our part, not only for our own family but for those struggling in our beautiful community with any form of cancer. We understand that October is breast cancer awareness month. But, what better time than now to kick off our support for all affected by all forms of cancer? Unfortunately, cancer affects everyone – the young and old, men, women and children – and presents a tremendous burden on patients, as well as their families. During the month of October you will be seeing Heber City Police Officers wearing pink under shirt as well as pink patches on our uniforms. This is one of our ways of showing our community “We Got Your Six” We will also have a combo of : A pink Blue line flag hat, Heber City Police pink patch, magnet, and pin available for sale at the Heber City Police Department for $25, pictured below. (This is a combo only, we are sorry, we will not be selling these items separate.) The money earned from the sale of these items will be; donated locally to The Horse Of Many Colors. This combo can be picked up at the Heber City Public Safety Building Located at 301 South Main Street between the hours of 8-6 Monday-Thursday.
