Six cowboy documentaries will show at Heber City's Cowboy Poetry Gathering. Go to www.tapadero.com for info. Films are free with admission to Buckaroo Fair. These films pay homage to the Spanish Vaquero’s influence and how the American Cowboy evolved from it. The story is told by working cowboys and cowgirls, who inherited this rich history and use it in their working lives every day. Films are underscored with the music of cowboy singers who have spent many long hours in the saddle — Ian Tyson, Dave Stamey, Don Edwards, Wylie & the Wild West, many others. Western Horseman reviewed them as "informative and entertaining." This is a great family event and will capture the interest of horse people.
